I recently read "Looking for Alaska" and loved it. I'm planning on reading his other novels soon. And I've been subscribed to his vlogbrothers for awhile. :) I also just read your post. I haven't read anything by Agatha Cristie yet, but I do want to in the future, if you have any suggestions :)
JK Rowling was on my list this week, as was Rick Riordan. If I'd had more space I would have included Lemony Snicket as well as I love A Series of Unfortunate Events. Here is my TTT post: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/category/top-ten-tuesdays/
I grew up reading A Series of Unfortunate Events and was obsessed! Although I did not like how the last book ended :( I just read your post, and I loved and read almost all of Roald Dahl books as a kid. My favorites were "The Witches" and "The BFG"
John Green is an amazing writer!! I read The Fault in Our Stars last year and cried while reading certain scenes.
